1. The Proserpine River
The Proserpine River is located near the Whitsundays and Airlie Beach. Australia is known for its abundance of saltwater crocodiles, so it makes sense to head out to see these giant creatures. 6. Visit the Australian paradise of the Whitsundays
The Whitsundays consist of 74 tropical islands located off the coast of Airlie Beach. The islands offer tropical forests, the best snorkeling spots in the world and Whitehaven Beach.
