Get picked up from your accommodation in your own private vehicle, ready to head off exploring the amazing city of Kathmandu. We swap our SUV for a rickshaw as you explore the living goddess Kumari, the centuries old Royal palace and courtyards, and temples of Basantapur; ASAN – a bustling ancient Nepal-Tibet melting point where narrow roads give ways to 1960s hippy trails leading all the way to the crazy markets of the Thamel.

After lunch at a traditional restaurant (not included) you will head to Swyambhunath Temple, commonly known as the monkey temple. An ancient relic perched on top of a mountain, Swyambhunath Temple is a perfect example of how hinduism is intertwined with buddhism seen through the surrounding architecture, people and the culture. From here we soak in the amazing view over the city of Kathmandu.
